David Borboa is an independent videographer. He was born in Orange, CA and later raised in Visalia, located in California's central valley. As a youth, he experienced many hardships, seeing more of life's struggles than most adults, let alone adolescents. He enjoyed skateboarding and later video production, wanting to document, expose, and share his surroundings and experiences with others. He began his education in video production by taking courses at a local community college in 1999.

He began documenting many events, concerts, skateboarding and the everyday lives of many unusual characters. His work has always focused on underground lifestyles and culture. David created a series of underground television shows titled "G- Rated T.V.". His segments featured live bands, skits, comedy, parody commercials,and events. However, the main content of the programs often consisted of controversial subject matter such as street life, violence, drug abuse. The grittiness and reality of these videos created an small cult-like fan base.

David felt he had found his life's work and set out to create his own professional production company. He hoped to write, direct and produce his own films and create commercials for local businesses. However, he didn't know where to begin. A chance encounter at a pizza parlor with Edward James Olmos, clarified his path. Olmos is a Latino director, actor, producer, writer and activist. David felt a kinship towards Olmos as they are both Latin American filmmakers. Olmos gave David advice and inspiration to begin his career.

Borboa has filmed many underground artists as KRS ONE, HANK WILLIAMS III, HIEROGLYPHICS,JUNIOR REID,and many underground punk bands.He has also documented many
